You see an alert for a Trojan Horse when you connect to an FTP site
The Trojan horse alert is caused by the type of FTP connection. It is not a virus or an attempt to attack your computer. The situation is caused by how the FTP connection works.

Configure Passive FTP within Internet Explorer |

- Open Internet Explorer.

- Click Tools > Internet Options.
|

- On the Internet Options screen, click the Advanced tab.

- Navigate to the Browsing section.
|
- 5
- Check Use Passive FTP for compatibility with some firewalls and DSL modems.
