Placing a file in Quarantine

STEP 2
   Place a file in Quarantine
 I am using Norton AntiVirus 2005

Start Norton AntiVirus.
If you have Norton Internet Security or Norton SystemWorks, then start that program and click Norton AntiVirus.

In the left pane, click Reports.

In the right pane, click View Quarantined Items.

Click Add Item, and then select the file that you want to place in Quarantine.

Click Add. The file appears in the right pane of the Quarantine window.

Close the Quarantine window.
 I am using Norton AntiVirus 2002/2003/2004

Start Norton AntiVirus.
If you have Norton Internet Security or Norton SystemWorks, then start that program and click Norton AntiVirus.

In the left pane, click Reports.

In the right pane, click the View Report button to the right of Quarantined items.

Click Add Item, and then select the file that you want to place in Quarantine.

Click Add. The file appears in the right pane of the Quarantine window.

Close the Quarantine window.
 I am using Norton AntiVirus 2000/2001

Start Norton AntiVirus.

Double-click View and manage the items in Quarantine.

Click Add Item, and then select the file that you want to place in Quarantine.

Click Add. The file will appear in the right pane of the Quarantine window.
